Tender Wounds

Salam & ahlan wa sahlan/ khosh amadid (peace, hello, and welcome)! We are Shami (شامي) and Sonbol (سنبل), two friends / kin / family / co-learners/ bringing you Tender Wounds, a podcast about liberatory and decolonial healing praxis. These recordings are a form of political grounding and politic building in healing work. We cannot grow and heal as a community if we are not actively working towards liberation together. We believe this requires actively learning from and with each as we reconnect with ourselves, the land, our ancestors, spirit, and each other. In these recordings, we bring you the energy of curiosity, confusion, silliness, fear, excitement, anger, love, grief, disconnection, reconnection, and much more as we discuss what healing praxis looks like in each of our lives.
